Durability and Strength

Railcraft railings are fabricated with high grade extruded aluminum. Aluminum is up to 40 times stronger than wood. Ounce for ounce, aluminum is one of the strongest, most stable material that exists for the North American climate. Since aluminum does not absorb moisture, it will not rust, chip, shrink, or crack.

Railcraft's railings are engineered for maximum strength using ASTM 6063-T5 or 6005A-T6 aluminum.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is a dry finishing process that uses fine particles of pigment and resin. The powder is applied by creating an electrostatic charge that attracts the paint when it is sprayed onto the railing. The coated product is then placed in an oven where the powder is melted and fused into a uniform, durable and environmentally friendly finish. Railcraft top rails, posts, and components are coated with a high end powder coating base. Powder coating provides a wide range of performance properties, which include excellent resistance to corrosion, heat, impact, abrasion, and fading from sunlight and extreme weather.

Railcraft Aluminum Railing Systems are easily custom designed to handle non-standard angles and configurations that are part of today's deck designs. Our continuous railing top profiles offer clean elegant lines that blend beautifully for both residential and commercial applications, whether indoors or outdoors. All glass and picket systems are interchangeable or may be a combination of both. Railcraft railing may be installed, either as a surface or fascia mount, on wood decks, over any waterproof surface or atop a concrete slab (smooth or aggregate).
